Everything in the universe consists of energy. Every living being is made of
energy. This life force energy - or bioenergy - is what flows through every living
thing that exists. All our thoughts, our mental and physical states are energy.
We are energy. As parts of the universe, we are more energy-beings than only
flash and blood.
Bioenergy can be explained as bio-electromagnetic energy or simply, as "living
energy". It is often referred to as Vital Force, Life Force Energy, Divine Energy,
Qi (Ch'i), Prana and so on.
In order to restore and maintain health, the balance and the constant, free flow
of bioenergy must be achieved and sustained.
Nothing rests. Everything moves; everything vibrates. The only way the body
can be brought back to harmony is by balancing the energy fileds through

Energy healing (or vibrational healing) sees beyond the physical body: into the
realm of what is termed the electromagnetic energy structures or the "subtle
bodies". It is based on the concept that the effects in the physical body are the
end result of the emotional patterns and belief structures in the subtle bodies.
Furthermore, any illness or out-of-balance state (emotional/mental/physical) can
be detected within the subtle bodies -at the etheric level- before they manifest
on the physical plane.
The Aura
These subtle bodies form what is called the aura. The aura is practically the
electromagnetic field that surrounds the human body and every organism and

and also our feelings, emotions, thinking, behaviour, and health. Each one has
its own unique frequency.
The aura reflects the vibrations of the soul. Colors of the aura are the

The Chakra System
Chakras are entry gates of the aura. They control and blend the auric bodies
together. They are centers of activity that receive, assimilate, and express life
force energy. Chakras absorb and transmit the bioenergy to and from the
universe. They are located in the etheric body and they express the
embodiment of spiritual energy on the physical plane.
According to the traditional teachings, there are 88,000 chakras in the human
body covering basically every area of the body. The majority of them are small
and less significant. 40 of them have important function and they are located in
the hands, feet, fingertips, and shoulders. The most significant ones are the
seven main chakras located along the central line of the body.

The chakras are connected by the nadis that are etheric channels, fine threads

Each chakra is expressed on the physical body in one of the endocrine glands
(see also the endocrine system) that regulate the physical and emotional
processes in the body.
The chakras are constantly rotating and vibrating. When one (or more) is
blocked, and the bioenergy does not flow harmoniously through them - or it's
